Job Overview

The Floor Customer Advisor plays a vital frontline role in delivering the Jonsson Workwear customer experience. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic, well-presented, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys engaging with people.

As a versatile all-rounder, you will assist customers with expert product advice, maintain impeccable store presentation, and ensure every customer interaction reflects the Jonsson Workwear brand values.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, professional, and friendly customer service at all times

  • Engage with customers to understand their workwear needs and recommend suitable solutions

  • Master the full Jonsson Workwear product range and communicate product benefits confidently

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through trust, follow-ups, and reliability

  • Assist customers throughout the full in-store journey, from product selection to checkout

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, merchandising, and presentation

  • Support team members and assist across various store functions when required

  • Represent the Jonsson Workwear brand through professional appearance and conduct

  • Show initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new skills across store operations


Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential

  • Retail or customer service-related qualifications – Advantageous


Education

  • Matric certificate with a good level of literacy and numeracy

  • Ongoing learning and product training provided in-store


Experience and Skills

Experience

  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial

  • Experience in sales, merchandising, or customer advisory roles is an advantage

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Ability to confidently engage with diverse customers

  • Sales awareness and solution-based thinking

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
