Job Overview

IQVIA is seeking a Forecast Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert within its Clinical Trial Payment (CTP) Forecasting service. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial forecasts for clinical trials while supporting internal teams and external clients.

You will play a critical role in ensuring forecast quality, validating data accuracy, and enhancing forecasting applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand assigned clinical trials.

  • Build, develop, and maintain baseline forecasting assumptions.

  • Ensure all forecasting requirements are met and address gaps where necessary.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to load assumptions into forecasting models successfully.

  • Prepare, distribute, and explain forecast reports to end-users.

  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding forecast outputs and assumptions.

  • Perform QA testing for forecasting application developments and enhancements.

  • Validate forecast data against actuals and adjust assumptions as required.

  • Create and analyse ad hoc financial and operational reports.

  • Support ongoing forecasting enhancements and operational improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2โ€“3 yearsโ€™ work experience.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, clinical trial, financial, or IT environments is advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, including investigator contracts and site documentation.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong financial and numerical aptitude.

  • Experience in financial forecasting, accrual reporting, and data analysis.

  • Exposure to business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Spotfire, or similar platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Customer-focused communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
