🧾 Job Overview

This 12-month internship offers hands-on exposure to forensic internal auditing within a state-owned enterprise. Interns will gain practical experience in auditing processes, forensic investigation, risk assessment, and compliance while contributing to organisational governance and accountability.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with forensic audits and investigations

  • Support preparation of audit and investigation reports

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential fraud or misconduct

  • Maintain accurate documentation of findings and corrective actions

  • Assist in monitoring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with audit and risk teams on investigative tasks


📚 Qualifications

Education:

  • National Diploma or BCom Degree in Internal Auditing or LLB

Experience:

  • No prior work experience required; aimed at unemployed graduates

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

  • Ethical, professional, and trustworthy conduct

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 35 years of age or younger

  • South African citizen
