🎯 Role Overview

As a Functional HR Manager, you will act as the primary HR partner to your assigned Business Units, providing expert support in talent management, performance development, learning, HR strategy, and organisational effectiveness.

You will translate Business Unit goals into HR initiatives, ensure compliance with labour legislation, foster a collaborative people culture, and drive high-impact HR projects. This role also serves as a Learning Business Partner, linking BU needs with the Learning & Development function.

Your work will directly influence leadership effectiveness, employee experience, transformation outcomes, and overall business performance.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of KPMG’s strategy, PPC frameworks, and industry trends.

πŸŽ“ Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.

  • Registration with HPCSA, SABPP, IPD, FASSET or similar bodies is advantageous.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience.

  • Minimum 2 years in an HR management-level role.

  • Strong understanding of HR methodologies, models, strategies, and the HR value chain.

  • Knowledge of labour relations, skills development frameworks, B-BBEE, and regulatory HR requirements.
