Brights Hardware, a leading supplier in the hardware industry, is looking for a dedicated General Assistant to join the Yard Department in Brackenfell. 🔑 Key Responsibilities
As a General Assistant in the Yard Department, your day will be filled with a variety of important tasks, including:

🚗 Loading Customer Vehicles: Accurately and promptly loading products into customers’ vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks.

📦 Stock Management: Ensure all stock is properly stacked, counted, and pulled for transfers, ensuring the accuracy of inventory.

🧹 Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy working area by sweeping and ensuring good housekeeping practices are followed.

💬 Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and sharing product knowledge with customers.

🔄 Stocktakes & Reporting: Participate in regular stocktakes, and report stock shortages or breakages promptly.

🌍 Teamwork: Work well independently and with a team to meet daily targets and deliver excellent service.
📋 Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

🎓 Education: Matric or 3 completed Intercept courses totaling 120 credits.

🧑💻 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role, preferably within a retail or warehouse environment.

🛠️ Skills: Ability to count stock numerically and work under pressure.

💪 Physical Fitness: The role requires stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

🗣️ Communication: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with both customers and team members.

💼 Attitude: Be disciplined, motivated, and willing to take on new tasks as delegated by your supervisor.
