๐Ÿ’ผ About the Role

As the General Manager: Human Resources, you will be the strategic HR leader overseeing the full HR function at DSV Healthcare. This pivotal role is part of the EXCO team and involves guiding, innovating, and executing a dynamic people strategy aligned with DSVโ€™s global HR objectives.


โœ… Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire HR team and function, from onboarding to exit processes.

  • Drive global HR strategy implementation locally.

  • Champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) and contribute to BBBEE pillars.

  • Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and talent management.

  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategies with operational needs.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labour legislation, employee relations, and collective agreements (NBCCI & NBCRFLI).

  • Drive employee engagement through initiatives such as global satisfaction surveys.

  • Guide managers on performance, reward, recognition, and change management.

  • Implement employee wellness programmes, including EAPs and wellness days.

  • Manage HR budgeting and cost optimisation.


๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Education:

    • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Human Resources or Psychology (essential)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years HR generalist experience

    • At least 5 years at General Manager or Senior Management level

    • Proven track record in managing teams, including HR Managers

    • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder corporate environment

  • Skills:

    • Strong strategic thinking and leadership

    • Labour law, change management, DEIB, and compliance expertise

    • Budgeting, performance management, and transformation planning

    • Talent pipeline development and succession planning
