🎯 Job Purpose:
To support the warehouse and logistics operations through general duties including loading, wrapping, cleaning, and assisting with deliveries—ensuring the efficient movement and safety of stock.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
🔹 General Warehouse Duties:

Sweeping and cleaning the warehouse floors.
-
Assisting on delivery routes.
-
Housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
-
Picking stock and supporting other ad hoc warehouse tasks.
-
Loading pallets and wrapping products accurately.
-
Operating MHEs such as pallet jacks and forklifts (*forklift license required).
🔹 Wrapping and Packing:
-
Pack cases per product instructions and wrap loads securely.
-
Identify and remove poor-quality products before loading.
-
Assist checkers in unpacking and repacking tasks when needed.
🔹 Housekeeping:
-
Ensure workspace is always clean, organized, and safe.
-
Proper storage and maintenance of cleaning tools.
-
Ensure walkways are clear and pallet boards are removed promptly.
🔹 Stock Count Preparation:
-
Help prepare for stock counts.
-
Isolate damaged stock with clear labeling.
-
Provide easy access to stock for counting.
-
Assist daily cycle counting when required.
🔹 Timekeeping and Reporting:

Clock in and out correctly.
-
Minimize overtime and report any late arrivals.
-
Keep Shift Controller informed of any potential delays or issues.
🔹 Health, Safety, and Hygiene:

Comply with all health and safety regulations and ISO standards.

Maintain a glass-free zone in the working area to protect products.

Ensure freezer/loading doors remain closed as per protocol.
🔹 Teamwork & Self-Management:

Take ownership of your tasks with a proactive attitude.

Communicate effectively within the team.

Support team goals and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
🎓 Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12 – essential.
-
Physically fit and capable of manual work.

Sober habits and reliable attendance.
💼 Experience & Skills:

Minimum 1 year experience in warehousing/logistics preferred.

Basic knowledge of stock handling, loading procedures, and warehouse safety is advantageous.

Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (*license required for forklift use).

Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
