📝 Job Overview

The General Worker (Pan Man) will support bakery and production line operations at the Secunda facility. This role focuses on ensuring smooth pan flow, proper handling of production equipment, effective waste management, and maintaining strict hygiene and housekeeping standards to support uninterrupted production.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Ensure top-row pans are packed upside down during stoppages to prevent dust contamination

• Maintain smooth and continuous flow of pans on the production line

• Manage waste by depanning products carefully at designated tables

• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards in the work area

• Identify, record, and allocate damaged pans or products correctly

• Support overall production efficiency and quality control requirements

• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

🎓 Qualifications

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric) advantageous

Experience

• Previous factory, bakery, or production line experience (advantageous)

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Strong attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and detail

• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately
