Are you a recent graduate ready to dive into the fast-paced world of finance? Citi South Africa is calling ambitious, analytical, and driven individuals to join our Markets Learnership Graduate Program in Johannesburg.

This 12-month program offers exceptional exposure to Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales, hands-on training, and the opportunity to pursue a sponsored postgraduate qualification while learning from the best minds in global banking.


🧩 What Will You Do?

As a Markets Learnership graduate, you’ll join the FX Sales desk and gain first-hand experience in currency markets, trade execution, client engagement, and risk management.


📌 Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis on global economic indicators, news, and trends

  • Support the FX team in executing client trades and managing orders

  • Learn to identify and manage credit, operational, and market risks

  • Interact with clients, deliver insights, and support FX transactions

  • Backtest trading strategies and contribute to data-driven decisions

  • Stay compliant with all regulatory and internal trading policies

  • Participate in training sessions, mentorship programs, and continuous learning

📚 Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum GPA: 65%) or Master’s Degree in any field

  • No more than 1 year of full-time work experience

  • Academic transcripts required during application
