🎯 About the ECIC Graduate Programme

The ECIC Graduate Trainee Programme is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace application. Participants will undergo structured training and gain hands-on exposure to real procurement processes, systems, and operations. This internship-style programme allows for in-person and remote participation, ensuring accessibility and flexibility.

Graduates will build expertise in procurement planning, supplier management, compliance, and public procurement frameworks—all while being mentored by seasoned professionals in the field.

As part of the Procurement Unit, you will gain practical knowledge in:

  • Planning and demand management

  • Public procurement methodologies:

    • Petty cash

    • One and three written quotations

    • Competitive bidding

  • Bid Committee Processes: Full exposure to all three committees (Specification, Evaluation, Adjudication)

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen under 35 years of age

  • Have a completed 3-year post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management or Finance
