Now, we’re looking for a Head of Customer Care & Transport to lead transformative logistics operations across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA).


🚀 Your Role as Head of Customer Care & Transport:

In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end regional transportation and customer service operations. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain (SAMEA), your mission will be to ensure seamless, cost-effective, and customer-focused logistics and transport execution.

🌟 Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Execution:

  • Lead implementation of key transport improvement projects and roadmaps.

  • Drive on-time delivery enhancements and cost-efficiency initiatives.

  • Standardize and harmonize logistics processes and adopt best practices.

  • Conduct root cause analyses using Lean and PDCA methodologies.

  • Monitor and analyze performance KPIs.

  • Collaborate with 3PL, 4PL, warehousing, and internal transport teams.

Project & Change Management:

  • Oversee global and regional transport projects including Alliance Programme and RDC initiatives.

  • Integrate newly acquired companies and ensure smooth operational transitions.

  • Champion communication, training, and change enablement efforts.

Customer Care Leadership:

  • Support and elevate local customer care functions using global benchmarks.

  • Manage high-priority escalations, complaints, and critical service issues.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Affairs, and Supply Chain to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Provide regional coordination to meet SAMEA sales and service targets.

Strategic Expertise:

  • Influence transport network designs, including LSP selection.

  • Monitor market shifts and evolve logistics strategy accordingly.

  • Support the integration and sustainability of operational changes.


🎓 What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, customer care, and supply chain within international environments.

  • In-depth understanding of SAMEA transport, trade, and customs processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.

  • Excellent project/change management capabilities.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

  • Ability to travel across the SAMEA region as required.
