🧠 Key Role Purpose

As the Head of Healthy Company, you’ll oversee Discovery’s innovative Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) aimed at improving wellness across corporate clients. Your role will focus on growing the business, optimizing service delivery, building exceptional client experiences, and leading high-performing teams. This strategic leadership opportunity will place you at the forefront of shaping impactful employee health solutions across South Africa.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✔ Grow and expand the Healthy Company product across various market segments
✔ Design and execute growth strategies focused on innovation and user-centric service delivery
✔ Foster top-tier experiences for members, employers, and advisers
✔ Lead a skilled team to drive client implementation, support, and ongoing engagement
✔ Promote operational efficiency through continuous service improvements
✔ Oversee regulatory compliance and represent Discovery at key industry forums
✔ Partner with business executives to create and deliver unique value propositions
✔ Manage third-party relationships and budget allocations effectively
✔ Lead tender processes and contribute to winning new business

🎓 Minimum Requirements

📘 A completed 3-year business degree or equivalent qualification
📈 5+ years experience in healthcare insurance or health care sector
🔧 Experience in operations leadership, systems implementation, and project delivery
🧠 Proven success in key account management and stakeholder engagement
✨ Discovery Health experience is advantageous
