Job Description:

Are you passionate about hospitality and looking to build a career in the industry? The African Global Skills Academy invites motivated and unemployed youth from the Western Cape to apply for its 2025 Learnership Programme.

This exciting opportunity is designed to equip you with essential skills, hands-on work experience, and accredited qualifications through relevant SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities). If you’re ready to boost your employability and take the first step toward a successful hospitality career, this programme is for you!

Programme Details:

  • Location: Various areas across the Western Cape, South Africa

  • Learnership Stipend: R3,000.00 (conditional on full attendance and participation)

Available Learnerships:

  1. Food and Beverage Services Level 4 (CATHSSETA)

  2. Fast Food Services Level 3 (CATHSSETA)

  3. Accommodation Services Level 2 (CATHSSETA)

  4. Business Administration Level 2 (Services SETA)

  • Gordon’s Bay

  • Kensington

  • Maitland

  • Sarepta

Who Can Apply:

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18 to 27

  • Be unemployed and currently residing in the Western Cape

  • Submit the following with your application:

    • An updated CV

    • Certified copy of your ID

    • Certified Matric certificate or Grade 11 school report (dated within 6 months)

  • Clearly state the specific learnership programme you are applying for in the subject line.
