Job Overview

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and orderly environment at the branch. This role ensures that all areas, including customer spaces and staff areas, are consistently well-maintained to support a safe and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the branch before opening, during operations, and after closing
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors, walls, and surfaces
• Clean toilets, furniture, equipment, and public areas
• Empty, clean, and manage waste bins and disposal processes
• Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor areas, including parking and yard
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately
• Monitor and request cleaning supplies and equipment when needed
• Report damages or breakages to management
• Clean air conditioning filters weekly
• Ensure seating areas, tables, and chairs are clean and well-maintained
• Support overall hygiene and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Education

• Grade 10–12 preferred

Experience

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience required

Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management and reliability
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina for cleaning duties
• Basic communication skills
