Job Overview

The HR Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of HR processes and systems, while supporting both operational and employee needs.

This role is ideal for HR professionals with experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration, looking to grow within a dynamic and structured organisation.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment, selection, and placement processes
  • Source and build a pipeline of quality candidates
  • Conduct interviews with hiring managers
  • Prepare appointment documentation and process onboarding
  • Conduct employee inductions and follow-ups
  • Capture new employee data on HR systems

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Maintain industrial and employee relations
  • Conduct disciplinary enquiries
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies
  • Handle employee queries and ensure resolution

HR Administration

  • Process UI19 forms, maternity leave, and salary schedules
  • Manage company benefits administration
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
  • Facilitate communication of HR policies and updates

Business Partnering & Communication

  • Work closely with managers on employee-related matters
  • Provide HR advice and support to operational teams
  • Ensure effective internal communication channels
  • Promote employee engagement and retention

Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management (Advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an HR environment

Skills

  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR processes and labour legislation
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Customer-focused and team-oriented approach
