Key Purpose of the Role
As the HR Generalist, you’ll support the delivery of strategic HR initiatives, contribute to the full employee life cycle, and drive alignment of policies and best practices across the division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is passionate about people and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
🧑💼 Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment across the division

Prepare job specs, contracts, new hire guides

Administer pre-employment checks and assessments

Facilitate onboarding, pay changes, and tracking of hires
📊 HR Analytics & Reporting

Generate reports on transformation, remuneration, performance, engagement, talent and more

Ensure data integrity and accuracy
-
Provide critical HR insights to drive strategy
🔄 Process Improvement & Service Excellence

Recommend improvements in HR policy and service delivery
-
Serve as liaison between internal clients and HR Centres of Excellence
💰 Remuneration & Payroll

Conduct salary benchmarking and support incentive processes

Liaise with payroll regarding leave, benefits, and employment changes
🧭 HR Strategy Support

Drive HR initiatives linked to business strategy

Formulate dashboards and presentations for business-critical insights
🧩 Business Partnering

Support disciplinary processes and development planning

Facilitate talent reviews and maintain employee records

Provide expert guidance to line managers

Education & Experience Requirements

Relevant 3-year degree (e.g. HR, Industrial Psychology, Behavioural Sciences)

3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role

Strong knowledge of SmartPeople, SuccessFactors, SharePoint

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Understanding of IR, HR policy frameworks, and the full HR value chain
