JOB OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Management Internship provides structured exposure to the full HR value chain.

Interns will support administrative and operational HR activities while ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with labour legislation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide recruitment, selection, and placement support including advertising, screening, interview scheduling, onboarding, and pre-employment checks.

Maintain and update employee records, filing systems, document control, and HR databases.
-
Support employee induction and off-boarding administration.
-
Assist with training and skills development administration, including invoice processing, coordination of workshops, and record keeping.

Maintain an effective HR filing and records management system.
-
Provide general administrative support including correspondence handling.

Support HR projects such as performance management, wellness programmes, and employee wellbeing initiatives.

Assist with performance management administration and employee relations documentation.
-
Support HR governance activities including updating policies, procedures, and audit-related documentation.

Ensure confidentiality and data integrity of employee information at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
-
Grade 12 (Matric).
-
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Training and Development, Labour Relations, or Employee Relations.
Experience
-
No prior work experience required.
Skills

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Good written and verbal communication abilities.

Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Basic understanding of HR processes and labour relations principles.
