The National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) is calling on unemployed graduates with a passion for Human Resource Management to apply for its Human Resource Internship Programme for 2025. This exciting opportunity is based at the NAC Head Office in Newtown, Johannesburg, and offers 8 months of hands-on experience in a supportive and professional arts administration environment.
About the NAC HR Internship Programme
The NAC is dedicated to promoting and supporting the development of the arts in South Africa. As part of its continued commitment to nurturing talent and addressing youth unemployment, the Council is offering a structured HR internship programme that will provide valuable workplace exposure to young graduates.
This internship is designed to equip participants with practical HR skills and knowledge while contributing to the effective functioning of the NAC’s human resources department.
Who Should Apply?
This internship is ideal for unemployed graduates who are passionate about building a career in Human Resource Management within the public or arts sector.
Minimum Requirements:

Age: Must be between 21 and 35 years old

Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed

Education:

A National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field (minimum 3 years)

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field will be an advantage

Skills: Basic knowledge of South African labour legislation
