TELUS Digital is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Cape Town. As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives and driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of HR professionals, ensuring high performance and development.
✔ Employee Relations: Handle complex employee relations issues, providing support to HR staff in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
✔ Onboarding & Talent Acquisition: Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into the organization.
✔ Performance Management: Develop and manage performance appraisal systems that promote excellence and align with organizational goals.
✔ Policy Development & Compliance: Ensure HR policies are up-to-date, compliant with local laws, and reflect industry best practices.
✔ Training & Development: Implement and manage employee development programs to enhance skills, boost career growth, and improve overall performance.
✔ Compensation & Benefits Management: Oversee the development and implementation of compensation structures and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with TELUS Digital’s objectives.
✔ Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic HR decisions and present actionable insights to senior management.
✔ Change Management: Lead HR-driven change initiatives and support the organization through transitions, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
✔ Experience: 5-7 years of experience in HR management, ideally within the technology or telecommunications industry.
✔ Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
✔ Software Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software, as well as proficiency in Google Suite.
✔ Desired Attributes: A proactive approach to problem-solving, high emotional intelligence, and adaptability to drive organizational culture and change.
