🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:
As the HR Officer, you’ll play a key role in a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement and compliance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
✅ Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage full-cycle recruitment to source top industry talent

Design targeted job adverts and implement internal sourcing strategies

Collaborate with line managers to develop job descriptions
-
Screen CVs, conduct telephonic interviews, and facilitate the full interview process
-
Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and skills assessments
-
Maintain and update recruitment dashboards and reports
✅ HR Administration & Compliance
-
Maintain and update employee records in compliance with POPIA
-
Prepare HR-related documentation including contracts and confirmation letters
-
Support HR audits and ensure policy compliance across HR processes
✅ Onboarding & Induction
-
Coordinate onboarding and ensure smooth new hire integration
-
Facilitate initial HR orientation and departmental inductions
✅ Employee Relations
-
Be the first point of contact for employee queries and conflict resolution
-
Assist with disciplinary processes and ensure compliance with labour legislation
-
Foster a positive and respectful workplace culture
✅ Training & Development
-
Coordinate internal and external training logistics
-
Maintain training records and support skills development reporting
✅ Performance Management
-
Track performance appraisals and probation reviews
-
Support implementation of performance improvement initiatives
✅ General HR Support

Provide daily operational support to the HR team
-
Participate in HR projects and ad hoc duties
✅ Minimum Requirements:
-
Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
-
Diploma in Human Resource Management (or equivalent)
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
-
Proven experience in high-volume recruitment
-
Background in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment is essential
-
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
