🌟 Position Summary

Clicks Group is seeking an HR Officer II to join its HR Logistics team at the Mahogany Ridge Distribution Centre in Pinetown. This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled HR generalist with strong HR analytics, recruitment, and IR capabilities to drive operational efficiency and support key people management strategies.


πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities

🎯 Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job specs and hiring needs.

  • Drive attraction and retention of top operational talent.

βš–οΈ Industrial Relations & Compliance

  • Assist with IR case handling, CCMA and arbitration preparation.

  • Ensure alignment with employment legislation and company policy.

  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and compliance records.

πŸ“Š HR Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Generate reports on HR metrics (headcount, turnover, leave, etc.).

  • Use SAP HCM and Excel for data consolidation and analysis.

  • Interpret trends and provide statistical reports to improve decision-making.

πŸ“š HR Administration & Project Support

  • Maintain and update employee databases and files.

  • Handle HR queries, reporting, and HRM project implementation support.

  • Support the BU transformation roadmap and performance culture efforts.


🧠 Qualifications & Skills

πŸ“˜ Education:

  • Essential: 3-year degree (BA, BCom HR, B Soc Sc, B Bus Sci, or equivalent).

  • Desirable: Honours or certification in HR or Business Analytics.

πŸ› οΈ Job Knowledge:

  • HR & Payroll administration, SAP HCM

  • HR analytics and generalist HR practices

  • Employment legislation (EEA, OHSA, BCEA, SDA)

  • Talent management and statistical reporting

βœ… Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking

  • Conflict resolution, decision-making, and customer service

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools

  • Resilient, adaptable, and highly organized

🧰 Experience:

  • 2–3 years HR Generalist experience in retail/logistics

  • Experience with IR, payroll, SAP HCM, and HR administration

  • Strong background in data analysis and HR metrics
