Feedem Catering, a leading South African contract catering company, is hiring a dedicated HR Officer to support its Healthcare Division in Pinelands. The role involves HR and payroll administration across multiple units, working closely with Unit Managers to ensure consistent, efficient HR operations.

π― Key Responsibilities
π§Ύ Personnel & HR Administration

Conduct audits and ensure compliance with HR policies.

Assist with appointments, promotions, terminations, and transfers.

Maintain physical and digital personnel files.
-
Support Section 197 and 189 documentation processes.
π§βπΌ Onboarding & Induction
-
Manage onboarding programs and induction sessions.
-
Create employee folders and ensure proper orientation and documentation.
-
Facilitate buddy systems and line management briefings.
π° Payroll & Time Attendance
-
Conduct monthly salary checks and assist with reporting.
-
Capture leave, shifts, and attendance data in systems.
-
Troubleshoot TGO tablet issues and support timekeeping accuracy.

Resolve missed punches and attendance discrepancies.
π Projects & Training
-
Deliver training on internal HR projects and processes.
-
Ensure unit-level training compliance and consistent onboarding.
π Recruitment & Transformation

Assist Talent Acquisition with job placements and submissions.
-
Adhere to Employment Equity legislation and internal transformation goals.
-
Support EE reporting and recruitment transparency.
π Performance Management

Compile and manage performance review documentation.
-
Ensure KPIs and job descriptions are current and aligned.
-
Assist with performance improvement and counselling sessions.
βοΈ Labour Relations
-
Guide Unit Managers on IR issues and disciplinary actions.
-
Participate in trade union consultations, hearings, and grievance processes.
-
Track disciplinary matters via shared tools and ensure policy compliance.
-
Stay updated with BCEA and industry labour standards.
β Minimum Requirements
π Education
-
Diploma or Advanced Certificate in HR Management or Industrial Psychology (preferred)
π§ Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years in a Human Resources environment
-
Experience using HRIS or Time & Attendance systems (advantageous)
π Additional Requirements

Valid driverβs license and own transport (travel required)

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
