Key Responsibilities:
✅ Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment and selection to attract top talent.
✅ Learning & Development: Implement annual training plans to upskill employees.
✅ Employee Relations (IR): Manage IR issues in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
✅ Stakeholder Communication: Engage with employees, management, and unions.
✅ HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance.
✅ HR Analytics & Reporting: Generate reports to aid decision-making and meet compliance requirements.
✅ Performance Management: Drive a culture of high performance.
✅ Transformation & Diversity: Support the implementation of transformation initiatives.
✅ HR Projects & Initiatives: Assist the HR Manager in executing key HR projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Job Knowledge:
✔️ Employment and industrial relations legislation
✔️ Competency-based recruitment and selection
✔️ Generalist HR practices & trends
✔️ Payroll and HR administration
✔️ Talent management principles
✔️ Occupational Health & Safety (OHSA), EEA, BCEA, SDA
Job-Related Skills:
✔️ Strong communication & interpersonal skills
✔️ Interviewing & assessment ability
✔️ Conflict resolution & problem-solving
✔️ Analytical & detail-oriented approach
✔️ Customer service excellence
Experience:
✔️ HR generalist experience in a retail environment (Essential)
✔️ Experience in IR, recruitment, payroll, and HR administration (Essential)
✔️ Experience in geographically distributed teams (Desirable)
✔️ SAP HCM knowledge (Desirable)
Education:
🎓 Essential: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Science, Social Sciences, Education, or related fields
🎓 Desirable: Honours Degree in a relevant field
