Job Overview

TFG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven HR Wage Clerk Administrator to join our dynamic HR team in Gauteng. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth payroll operations, HR administration, and compliance across various business functions including recruitment, wellness, training, and timekeeping.


Key Responsibilities

🧾 Payroll Administration:

  • Perform weekly payroll administrative tasks to ensure accurate and timely wage payments.

  • Ensure full compliance with the Clothing Bargaining Council regulations.

  • Process and verify wage-related data and documentation.

  • Generate payroll reports and submit reconciliations where necessary.

  • Manage employee time and attendance records efficiently.

👥 General HR Administration:

  • Provide administrative support across all HR functions.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  • Assist in updating employee files with employment and payroll-related changes.

📢 Recruitment Support:

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires.

  • Ensure recruitment and employment practices align with TFG’s compliance policies.

🎓 Training & Learnership Management:

  • Administer and monitor training programmes and learnerships.

  • Track student progress and assist with compliance-related documentation.

❤️ Employee Wellness Initiatives:

  • Design and implement employee wellness campaigns and initiatives.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to support staff well-being.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Completed or ongoing HR qualification or training (essential)

  • Computer literacy – Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & Outlook)

  • Ability to communicate using SASL (South African Sign Language) is a strong advantage

  • Knowledge or experience with Clothing Bargaining Council regulations is highly advantageous
