๐ Job Purpose
As a Human Capital Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering professional HR support to line managers and employees within your area of responsibility. This role focuses on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and implementing change initiatives that align with business goals.
With two positions available, this is a great opportunity for skilled HR professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
๐ Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement an effective resource and workforce plan aligned with business needs.

Manage full-cycle recruitment, ensuring timely hiring of skilled resources in collaboration with line managers.

Drive talent management, career pathing, and succession planning across assigned business areas.

Provide hands-on support for disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and other employee relations matters.

Facilitate performance management processes, helping line managers apply best practices.

Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting and compliance with internal policies and labor legislation.

Act as a change agent in organizational development initiatives, working closely with the HR Manager and leadership.

Foster a healthy working environment through open engagement with employees and shop stewards.

Promote and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) standards.
๐ Qualifications & Experience

Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related discipline.

Minimum 4โ6 yearsโ experience in human capital roles, with exposure to talent management, recruitment, and employee relations.

Previous experience at HR Business Partner or HR Manager level preferred.

In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation, HR policies, and performance management systems.

Strong understanding of HR information systems, with the ability to extract and interpret data.

Experience in project and change management will be advantageous.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and business acumen.
