🧾 Job Overview

This 12-month internship is part of SAFCOL’s YES Programme, aimed at giving unemployed graduates practical experience in Human Capital Operations. Interns will gain hands-on exposure in HR processes, workforce management, and organisational development, building employable skills for future career opportunities.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR operations and administrative processes

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management

  • Contribute to HR reporting and data collection

  • Support learning and development initiatives

  • Help implement HR policies and procedures

  • Assist with employee engagement activities

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department


📚 Qualifications

Education:

  • Degree, National Diploma, or N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management

Experience:

  • No prior work experience required

  • Must be an unemployed graduate

Skills:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Basic understanding of HR processes and compliance

  • Computer literacy (MS Office)

  • Ability to work independently and in teams

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 35 years of age or younger

  • South African citizen
