π§© Position Overview
SBV Services is seeking a proactive and skilled Human Resource Officer to join their team in Rustenburg. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive HR service and administration across the centre. The successful candidate will support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR reporting, onboarding/offboarding, payroll support, and contribute to transformation and wellness initiatives.

π― Key Responsibilities
π§Ύ HR Service Delivery & Administration

Manage end-to-end HR administration and compliance with POPIA and PAIA legislation

Maintain employee files and documentation (e.g., job profiles, PPAs, IODs, disability claims)
-
Support HR-related risks and compile HR updates for management meetings
-
Engage with centre managers and resolve employee queries in accordance with HR policy
π Recruitment & Selection
-
Facilitate recruitment for Grade 1β11 positions including job analysis, advertising, interviews, and appointment processes

Coordinate background checks, psychometric assessments, and issue letters of appointment
-
Load new hires onto the SAGE system and complete engagement packs
π₯ Onboarding & Offboarding
-
Facilitate orientation, induction, and handovers with new hires
-
Manage exit interviews and offboarding procedures including resignations and retirements
π Governance & HR Reporting
-
Compile reports: vacancy trackers, IR stats, staff lists, transformation metrics, and payroll discrepancies
-
Conduct SAGE audits and investigate system discrepancies
-
Support internal/external audits and ensure data integrity
β±οΈ Kronos Time Management

Ensure accuracy of timecards on Kronos, enrol new employees, and resolve attendance queries
π οΈ Project Execution

Lead and monitor HR projects within the centre

Conduct awareness and change management sessions
π§Ύ Job Profiling & Evaluation
-
Collaborate with line managers to develop and update job profiles for evaluation
π Learning & Development
-
Identify training needs, manage PDPs, and track training attendance and reporting
π Transformation & Equity
-
Support transformation goals and EE targets, including non-EE motivation and committee participation
-
Ensure EE Plan visibility within the centre
βοΈ Employee Relations

Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and CCMA matters

Liaise with ER teams for complex IR issues
π Performance & Talent Management

Support talent strategies, performance reviews, PPA updates, and coaching
β€οΈ Wellness & Benefits

Monitor medical aid applications, ICAS referrals, and wellness initiatives

Support psychological and work-related intervention programs
π€οΈ Culture & Change Leadership

Act as a change ambassador to drive values, culture alignment, and employee engagement

Promote performance-driven culture and lead change communication across the centre
β Minimum Requirements
π Education
-
Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
π§ Experience
-
Minimum 3 yearsβ working experience in a Human Resources function
