TELUS Digital is seeking a Human Resources Officer to support and implement key HR initiatives, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management. Key Responsibilities:

✔️ HR Support: Assist in developing and executing HR strategies and systems across various HR functions.
✔️ Recruitment & Onboarding: Prepare job descriptions, facilitate the recruitment process, and create effective onboarding plans.
✔️ Performance Management: Support the performance management process, helping to drive employee development and success.
✔️ Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on disciplinary actions, grievance management, and general employee relations.
✔️ Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, EEO data, and other legally required documents.
✔️ Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and conduct regular reviews of employment conditions.
✔️ EEO Reporting: Prepare and submit Employment Equity (EE) reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

🔑 Proven Experience: Previous experience as an HR officer, administrator, or similar HR role. Experience in a BPO or contact centre environment (up to 250 employees) is a plus.
🔑 HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, training, and development.
🔑 Labour Law & Procedures: Strong knowledge of labour laws, disciplinary procedures, and CCMA cases.
🔑 Tech Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRMS systems is an advantage.
🔑 Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
🔑 Educational Background: BSc/BA in Business Administration, Social Studies, or a related field. HR credentials (e.g., PHR) are a plus.
