We are currently seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer to join our Group Services team based in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga. What You’ll Do in This Role
As a Human Resources Officer at Glencore, you will be a critical contributor to the implementation of HR policies and practices, recruitment processes, compliance, and general HR service delivery across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Placement:
Manage and coordinate recruitment processes, particularly for learner programmes, ensuring timely placement and onboarding. -
HR Services & Administration:
Deliver general HR support and advisory services within your area, handling documentation, systems, and employee queries. -
Policy & Legal Compliance:
Ensure all HR practices align with Glencore’s policies and South African labour laws. Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to compliance audits. -
Line Management Support:
Provide guidance to line managers on fair practices regarding performance, conduct, and disciplinary procedures. -
HR Reporting & Projects:
Assist in the preparation of HR reports, monitor workforce trends, and support the execution of strategic HR projects as required.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

Prior exposure to SAP Human Capital Module is essential.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
