About the Role

Are you experienced in operating narrow aisle forklifts and looking to join a leading retail group? TFG is seeking a skilled Hyster Driver to play a vital role in our distribution centre. This position involves the safe and efficient handling of stock, ensuring smooth warehouse operations that support our wide retail portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate various materials handling machines, including Narrow Aisle Fork Trucks, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance Forklifts, and Power Pallets, to transport cartons, pallets, and merchandise to designated storage areas.

• Perform put-away, replenishment, and picking tasks with precision and efficiency.

• Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.

• Conduct cycle counts regularly and assist with full inventory audits as required.

• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record accurate inventory movements.

• Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or irregularities promptly to the line manager.

• Palletize, package, and stage stock neatly and in an organized fashion.

• Ensure outbound goods meet SKU and quantity specifications.

• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.

• Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace aligned with 6S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure operational efficiency.

• Support additional distribution-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Forklift License (Narrow Aisle, Reach Truck, Counterbalance Fork Truck, or Power Pallet).

• Proven experience driving forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or overtime when required.
