Job Overview
The ICT Governance & Projects Internship Programme is part of CoGHSTA’s broader initiative to develop skilled ICT professionals within the public sector.
Over a 24-month period, interns will gain exposure to IT governance frameworks, project coordination, and digital transformation initiatives. You will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of ICT projects while ensuring alignment with governance standards and policies.
This programme is ideal for graduates interested in IT governance, project management, and public sector technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating ICT projects and governance processes
- Support implementation of IT policies, standards, and compliance frameworks
- Contribute to project planning, monitoring, and reporting
- Assist in analysing ICT systems and identifying improvement opportunities
- Support documentation and administrative processes within ICT projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
Education
- A minimum 3-year qualification in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
Experience
- Must be an unemployed graduate residing in Limpopo Province
- Must not have participated in any government internship programme previously
Skills
- Basic understanding of ICT governance and project management
- Computer literacy
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
