🧠 Key Responsibilities

As an ICT Intern, your duties will include:

  • Assisting with backend and user interface development using tools such as Oracle PL/SQL, APEX, and JavaScript

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining database-driven enterprise applications

  • Supporting the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and web services

  • Analysing business requirements to build automated and streamlined processes

  • Contributing to debugging, coding, and system documentation

  • Participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and development team meetings


✅ Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must possess the following:

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in:

    • Informatics

    • Computer Science

    • Software Engineering

    • Information Technology

    • Or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BCom Informatics, BTech, or higher qualification


💡 Technical Skills Required

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in at least one tool/technology in three or more of the categories below:

  • Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Bash

  • Data Formats: JSON, XML

  • Programming Languages: C#, Java, PHP, PL/SQL, Python

  • SQL Technologies: SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL

  • Front-End Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • ERP Tools: PeopleCode, Power FX

  • Web Services: REST, SOAP

  • Command-line Tools: PowerShell, Bash, VBScript
