The Agency supports industry development initiatives that drive economic growth, stakeholder collaboration, and sustainable transport systems.


Job Overview

The Industry Development Intern will support the Industry Development Sub-Unit through research, coordination, and administrative assistance. This internship provides exposure to stakeholder engagement, economic analysis, and industry-focused projects within the transport and logistics sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and arrangements for training and industry events

  • Identify and engage key industry stakeholders and role players

  • Maintain and update a database of industry stakeholders

  • Disseminate industry-related information to relevant parties

  • Identify potential opportunities for economic and industry growth

  • Provide administrative support to the Industry Development Sub-Unit

  • Participate in field visits, consultations, and project activities


Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in:

    • Economics

    • International Trade

    • Transport Logistics Management

Experience

  • No prior work experience required

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong interest in business and industry development

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills
