Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to technical assistance requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Provide first and second-line support for server, networking, and internet-related issues.
  • Resolve common incidents such as DNS, server connectivity, and internet issues.
  • Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.

🌐 Infrastructure Support & Management

  • Manage and resolve incidents following incident management processes.
  • Provide Public Cloud support (M365 & Azure) to clients.
  • Support disk space management, firmware upgrades, backup solutions (Veeam), and end-point protection (ESET, SentinelOne, Defender).
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and security of LAN/WAN, network services, Windows Servers (both physical and virtual), and virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere).

🔐 Security & Risk Management

  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices to mitigate risks.
  • Actively manage and improve infrastructure security and data integrity.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities within the system.

📈 Performance Optimization

  • Collaborate with engineers to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.
  • Contribute to performance reviews and implement strategies for improved system reliability.

📑 Incident Response & Planning

  • Assist in reviewing and updating incident response plans.
  • Support major incidents, escalating when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution.

🔄 Scripting & Automation

  • Explore opportunities for task automation and improve operational workflows across teams.

💼 Team Collaboration & Learning

  • Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing training to expand your skill set.
  • Collaborate on IT infrastructure projects such as system upgrades and migrations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

📜 Essential Qualifications

  • Microsoft AZ-800 & AZ-801 (Administering and Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure).
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+.
  • Fortinet Certified Fundamentals (FCF) in Cybersecurity.
  • Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) & Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) – FortiGate Administrator.

📈 Beneficial Certifications

  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102)
  • Mimecast: Email Security, Cloud Gateway Certification.

💼 Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support (preferably in managed services or enterprise IT environments).
  • Experience supporting network services (AD, DNS, DHCP), firewalls (FortiGate, Sonicwall), and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).

Technical Skills:

🖥️ Infrastructure & Network

  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server and network services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with firewall appliances (FortiGate, SonicWall, Sophos) and network switches (HP Procurve, Aruba).
  • Experience supporting virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Failover Clustering.

🔐 Security & Risk

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Experience with endpoint protection solutions like ESET, SentinelOne, and Defender.
