🚀 About the Role:
Puma Energy is looking for a talented Insights & Visualization Engineer to join our Data & Digitization team. In this role, you will utilize Tableau & Databricks to develop insightful reports and dashboards that empower data-driven decisions within our Retail operations. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing Retail digitization, ensuring optimal performance in a rapidly evolving market.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Data Analysis & Visualization:
✔ Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau.
✔ Work with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable insights.
✔ Utilize Databricks for data transformation and analysis.
✔ Continuously enhance existing reports for clarity and efficiency.
🔹 Data Integration & Management:
✔ Collaborate with data engineers to ensure accurate ETL processes.
✔ Integrate multiple data sources, ensuring data quality & consistency.
✔ Implement best practices for data visualization & reporting.
🔹 Collaboration & Communication:
✔ Partner with Retail teams to support business objectives through data insights.
✔ Present complex data findings to technical & non-technical stakeholders.
✔ Act as a bridge between Retail, IT, and other departments.
🔹 Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
✔ Stay updated on the latest trends in data visualization & Retail digitization.
✔ Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting.
✔ Contribute to data governance policies ensuring integrity & security.
🔹 Other Responsibilities:
✔ Prepare documents & meeting materials.
✔ Oversee application access & security.
✔ Conduct performance testing for new releases.
✔ Design optimal dashboarding solutions aligned with business needs.
🎯 Requirements:
🔹 Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Retail, or related field.
✔ 4+ years in BI, data visualization, or Retail operations.
✔ Experience working with Retail data & KPIs is a plus.
🔹 Technical Skills:
✔ Proficiency in Tableau – Advanced dashboard creation & optimization.
✔ Databricks expertise – Including Spark & SQL.
✔ Strong knowledge of ETL processes & data warehousing.
✔ Familiarity with Power BI, QlikView, Looker (preferred).
✔ Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (nice-to-have).
✔ Understanding of end-to-end data warehouse solutions.
🔹 Soft Skills:
✔ Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities.
✔ Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
✔ Ability to work independently & manage multiple projects.
🤝 Key Relationships:
🔹 Internal: Managers, Senior Management, Retail & IT teams.
🔹 External: Consultants & third-party vendors.
