🔍 Role Overview
As an Insurance Claims Agent at Capitec, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring clients are supported during difficult times. You’ll manage and process Credit Life Insurance and Non-Medical Claims, ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
✅ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Process and assess insurance claims (Credit Life & Non-Medical)
🔹 Liaise with clients to collect documentation and clarify details
🔹 Perform claims validation and fraud checks
🔹 Ensure adherence to service-level agreements and regulatory standards
🔹 Maintain accurate records and case notes
🔹 Communicate claim decisions professionally and empathetically

👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent client service and have a strong understanding of insurance processes.
✔️ Matric certificate (Grade 12)
✔️ Insurance-related qualification (advantageous)
✔️ Experience in insurance claims handling
✔️ Strong customer service skills
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication
✔️ High attention to detail and accuracy
✔️ Ability to manage stress and handle sensitive client cases
✔️ Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM/claims systems)
