AVBOB Mutual Assurance Society, in partnership with INSETA, is proud to offer a Long Term Insurance Learnership Programme 2025 for unemployed South African youth. This opportunity is designed to provide both workplace experience and a nationally recognised qualification, launching your career in the thriving insurance industry.

If you are eager to gain hands-on knowledge while working towards an NQF Level 4 qualification, this 12-month learnership could be the perfect fit for you.

📍 Location:

Available across three key locations in Gauteng:

  • Soweto

  • Park Station (Johannesburg)

  • Alberton

🧠 What You’ll Gain:

  • NQF Level 4 Qualification in Long Term Insurance (140 credits)

  • Practical work experience in a professional insurance environment

  • Monthly stipend to support you during the programme

✅ Minimum Requirements:

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35

  • Be unemployed

  • Be a South African citizen

  • Have a valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate

  • Have completed English and Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy, or Accounting in Matric

  • Not be currently studying or enrolled at any other institution

  • Not have previously completed or participated in any learnership

  • Be willing and able to work in Soweto, Park Station, or Alberton

  • Have reliable transportation to and from work

  • Possess good communication skills

  • Be computer literate (MS Office, internet, email – advantageous)

  • Have access to a smartphone or laptop (advantageous)
