About WeBuyCars:
WeBuyCars is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Silver Lakes branch. As a leading name in the automotive industry, WeBuyCars specializes in buying and selling vehicles, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Orders:
- Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders: opening, approving, and closing orders.
- Ensure adherence to administrative order rules, including reversals and corrections.
- Provide support for the purchase order system and process data extracts.
Stock Management:
- Extract and report on data related to stock management.
- Monitor stock take exceptions and report discrepancies.
- Resolve stock-related issues and provide system support.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels on the floor.
- Manage the Trello Board by adding and removing vehicles as necessary.
Housekeeping and Expense Control:
- Oversee manual order books and ensure accuracy.
- Manage and order various stickers such as “Promo,” “Sold,” “Finance,” QC, and “Delivery ready.”
- Coordinate payment requisitions for service providers.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background in mechanical aspects of vehicles is essential.
- Strong listening skills and ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Demonstrated stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment.
Further Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory management.
- Technical or mechanical background in vehicles is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the motor industry is preferred.
