🧠 About the Role

Coronation is seeking a driven and client-focused Investment Specialist to join their Johannesburg-based team. This is a dynamic client-facing role focused on supporting the sale of CFM’s retail products via broker consultants, financial advisers, and linked product providers.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing client relationships, driving asset growth, and promoting investment products across Johannesburg and surrounding areas, including East Rand, West Rand, and the Vaal Triangle.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client visits and virtual presentations to financial advisers and broker networks

• Deliver performance reports and tailored investment insights to clients

• Expand assets under management through both new and existing clients

• Analyze clients’ portfolios and identify appropriate Coronation investment solutions

• Maintain up-to-date client records using internal MIS systems

• Monitor competitor trends, market developments, and industry shifts

• Represent Coronation at events, conferences, and forums to build brand awareness

🎓 Qualifications & Certifications

Required:

• Commerce or Legal tertiary qualification (essential)

• CFP® (preferred or must be completed upon appointment)

Preferred:

• Ability to fluently service Afrikaans-speaking clients

💼 Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in asset management, insurance, IFA markets, or related financial services sectors

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills

• Proven ability to build long-term, profitable relationships with clients

💻 Systems & Tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with virtual communication platforms (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom)

• Familiarity with client database systems and CRM tools
