Job Overview

The Analyst: Investments Wealth (FAIS) role provides specialist advisory and operational support within the wealth and investment environment. The position focuses on supporting senior advisors, enhancing client engagement, identifying portfolio opportunities, and ensuring effective risk and control implementation. This role is ideal for a finance or commerce graduate seeking exposure to investment advisory, portfolio optimisation, and wealth management operations within a leading African bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advisory and operational support to senior investment advisors

• Assist in driving business development through portfolio analysis, cross-selling, and up-selling opportunities

• Engage with clients to understand current and future investment product needs

• Support service delivery processes aligned to operational planning objectives

• Ensure compliance with FAIS, risk, and internal control requirements

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify value-creation opportunities

• Contribute to improved client experience and sustainable business growth

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies

Experience:

• Exposure to investments, wealth management, or financial advisory environments is advantageous

• FAIS-related experience will be beneficial
