📘 Purpose of the Role

The IS Programming Lecturer will be responsible for delivering programming-focused lectures, supporting academic excellence, and contributing to departmental functions. This is a hands-on teaching role with additional responsibilities in student success, administration, and quality assurance.

👨‍🏫 Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and structured lectures across various higher certificate-level modules
Teach programming subjects in Java, Python, or C#
Prepare lecture notes, study materials, and additional resources
Design, administer, and mark assessments in alignment with academic standards
Monitor and manage at-risk students with academic support strategies
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning
Ensure alignment with Eduvos’ quality assurance processes
Maintain up-to-date records and student results
Support innovation in teaching methodology and use of technology in the classroom

✅ Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent
Must have a programming or software development focus

Experience:

1–2 years of relevant lecturing or academic experience is advantageous
Solid understanding of higher education frameworks and academic processes
Prior exposure to teaching, coaching, or mentoring learners in a structured setting is beneficial

Skills:

Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C#)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organisational and planning skills
Ability to engage students with varying learning styles
