Role Overview

As an IT Auditor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company’s information systems and ensuring compliance with risk management protocols. You will work closely with the Group IT Audit Manager and the IT Audit team to execute audit projects that enhance IT controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Analysis: Prepare detailed narratives and flowcharts to map business and IT processes.

• Risk & Control Management: Identify risks and controls, develop and maintain risk-control matrices.

• Audit Planning: Participate in scoping and planning audit projects effectively.

• Audit Execution: Develop audit programs, prepare workpapers, and validate findings with control owners.

• Remediation Follow-up: Monitor and track remedial actions post-audit to ensure issues are resolved.

• Data Analysis: Analyze data using tools such as MS Excel, IDEA, and PowerBI to extract actionable insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom/BTech in Internal Audit, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related BSc degree.

• Member or in progress towards membership of ISACA or a similar professional body.

• 2-3 years’ experience in IT auditing, preferably within commercial or business environments.

• Exposure to cybersecurity reviews, frameworks such as COBIT, CIS, ITIL, or NIST.

• Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical knowledge of Active Directory, SQL, Oracle databases, cloud environments, networks, endpoint security, and cyber threats.

• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing of IT controls supporting financial environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and accuracy.
