Position Overview:
We are looking for two experienced IT Support Technicians to join our dynamic Technology Operations Team. One role is based in Cape Town and the other in Durban. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth IT operations, enhance end-user experiences, and help drive our commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for hardware and software issues.

  • Manage IT asset lifecycle: installation, movement, upgrades, and decommissioning.

  • Coordinate office relocations and ensure seamless IT transitions.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of IT hardware and software for audits and compliance.

  • Conduct training sessions to enhance end-user IT skills and minimize support tickets.

  • Troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues in collaboration with internal/external partners.

  • Offer on-call support during critical incidents, ensuring business continuity.

  • Provide support across various locations, with occasional travel required.

  • Adhere to IT processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for quality delivery.

  • Assist with IT procurement in line with company procedures.

  • Act as a local coordinator for hardware/software upgrade projects.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a similar IT support role, preferably in a large organization.

  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft products, troubleshooting, server and network basics, Active Directory, and PC hardware/peripherals.

  • Business: Strong communication, customer service, ownership, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.

  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft) are advantageous.
