Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client Welcome: Greet clients and manage the branch flow efficiently.
  • Queue Management: Ensure smooth and efficient queue functioning.
  • Client Assistance: Assist clients with ATM usage and transactions on remote or self-service channels.
  • Service Consulting: Gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for service consulting through practical experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum:

  • Education: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Experience: No experience required, but individual must hold a Grade 12 certificate.

Ideal:

  • Some client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment.

Knowledge

Minimum:

  • Basic calculations.
  • Effective engagement with people.
  • Clarity and understanding of own aspirations; ambitious and keen to learn.

Ideal:

  • Knowledge of bank branch environments.
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal).

Skills

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Conditions of Employment

  • Clear Records: Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Fingerprint Recognition: Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
