They are seeking a Junior Business Analyst (IT Applications: Finance) to support SAP Finance users, drive system enhancements, resolve operational issues, and support the optimisation of financial processes across the business.

This role supports SAP FI, SAP BW, third-party finance applications and involves hands-on configuration, analysis, project execution, and user enablement.

🎯 Job Purpose

• Identify, design, and specify IT application solutions aligned with Finance business needs.

• Support SAP FI and finance-related applications to ensure optimal system performance.

• Lead and assist with small-scale system enhancement projects.

• Resolve operational issues, conduct user support activities, and maintain compliance.

• Extract maximum value from IT platforms through continuous improvement and analysis.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔧 SAP End-User Support

• Assist users in resolving SAP FI module issues across Vector.

• Document issues clearly and liaise with internal/external technical teams.

• Create and maintain training manuals and e-learning content.

• Provide after-hours support when operationally required.

• Understand SAP FI processes: AP, AR, GL, Assets, Month-End Closing.

• Support SAP BW reporting and data extraction.

💡 System Opportunity Identification

• Support the Applications Manager in identifying improvements within the FI module.

• Quantify efficiencies, develop Business Cases, and recommend system enhancements.

🚀 Application Development, Enhancement & Implementation

• Act as the link between Business stakeholders and technical consultants.

• Lead small business projects requiring SAP FI changes.

• Document Business Requirements, Functional Specs, and secure sign-offs.

• Assist in calculating ROI and validating business value.

• Liaise with infrastructure and software partners for system readiness.

🔐 SAP User Profile Maintenance

• Coordinate user profile creation and maintenance with the Authorizations team.

• Approve access via UAR workflows.

• Help resolve access-related audit findings.

📝 System Auditing

• Conduct compliance audits in SAP FI.

• Report non-compliance and identify business risks.

• Recommend compensating controls where needed.

📊 Reporting

• Develop and maintain SAP FI reports.

• Enhance reporting accuracy and usability.

• Run and automate reports for business stakeholders.

📘 Technical Expertise

• Provide guidance on best practices for business systems.

• Build specialist knowledge of SAP FI and support continuous improvement.

• Resolve system non-compliance and enhance audit coverage.

🎓 Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• BSc/BCom in Information Systems, or BTech in IT

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT or Finance systems support

• Strong working knowledge of SAP FI configuration

• Experience with SAP BW

• Project management capability, especially in continuous improvement initiatives

• Valid Code EB driver’s licence

• Advanced MS Office, Project, Visio skills

• Strong analytical ability and business process understanding
