Job Overview
The Junior Consulting Engineer will support utility consulting projects by coordinating field activities, ensuring engineering quality standards, and assisting with technical problem-solving.
This role involves both office-based analysis and on-site supervision, ideal for candidates who enjoy a balance between technical and practical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Quality Assurance Field Engineers
- Review inspection results and ensure compliance
- Support planning and scheduling of field operations
- Conduct site visits to resolve technical issues
- Analyse engineering data for trends and improvements
- Assist in developing quality standards and frameworks
- Prepare engineering reports and progress updates
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications
Education
- B.Eng in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience
- 6–18 months in engineering, construction, or utilities (advantageous)
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in field and office environments
- Team player with willingness to learn
- Proficient in MS Office and digital tools
- Valid Code B driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors
