🛠 What You’ll Do
As a Junior Design Engineer, you will contribute directly to the development of world-class machinery and tools used in the rock and mineral processing industry. Key responsibilities include:

Designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (preferably Siemens NX or SolidEdge).

Creating detailed technical data packs including engineering BOMs and manufacturing drawings.

Assisting with site visits to collect technical measurements.

Participating in fitness-for-use testing, process validation plans, and design reviews.

Collaborating cross-functionally with manufacturing teams, contract manufacturers, and internal departments.

Ensuring adherence to in-house and industry design standards, including welding and material treatments.

Continuously improving products in terms of quality, pricing, and performance.

Developing and maintaining engineering calculations and drawing file structures.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills

BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)

0–2 years’ experience in 3D CAD modelling and drafting (sheet metal fabrication preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Understanding of fabrication methods, engineering materials, and welding specifications

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to travel for customer site visits as needed

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
