🛠 What You’ll Do

As a Junior Design Engineer, you will contribute directly to the development of world-class machinery and tools used in the rock and mineral processing industry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (preferably Siemens NX or SolidEdge).

  • Creating detailed technical data packs including engineering BOMs and manufacturing drawings.

  • Assisting with site visits to collect technical measurements.

  • Participating in fitness-for-use testing, process validation plans, and design reviews.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with manufacturing teams, contract manufacturers, and internal departments.

  • Ensuring adherence to in-house and industry design standards, including welding and material treatments.

  • Continuously improving products in terms of quality, pricing, and performance.

  • Developing and maintaining engineering calculations and drawing file structures.


🎓 Qualifications & Skills

  • BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)

  • 0–2 years’ experience in 3D CAD modelling and drafting (sheet metal fabrication preferred)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Understanding of fabrication methods, engineering materials, and welding specifications

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to travel for customer site visits as needed

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
