Purpose of the Role

As a Junior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and designing high-quality products, tools, and equipment. Your work will ensure that the final products meet stringent quality and performance benchmarks, while also supporting the production process from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review development requirements and assess feasibility, cost, and timelines.

• Design products using advanced CAD/CAE software (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidEdge).

• Translate product requirements into functional specifications and engineering drawings.

• Generate detailed technical documentation including drawings and engineering BOMs.

• Conduct product testing and validate specifications for fitness and compliance.

• Support production by handing over complete process and design documentation.

• Attend customer meetings, site visits, and take on-site measurements as needed.

• Participate in innovation initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Maintain organized electronic drawing files for full traceability and as-built management.

• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and manufacturing partners to drive quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• BTech or BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 0 to 2 years’ experience in 3D CAD modelling and drafting, ideally within sheet metal fabrication.

• Proficiency in Siemens NX, SolidEdge, or other CAD platforms.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
