Key Responsibilities:
✅ Financial Management & Control

Track and report on budget performance, ensuring variances are clearly communicated.

Maintain financial control within established systems to monitor expenditure and identify unusual figures for further analysis.

Collaborate with senior managers to prepare and forecast budgets.
📊 Data Collection & Analysis

Identify and investigate anomalies with financial accountants, ensuring data accuracy.

Analyse financial data to understand past performance and aid in future forecasting.
💡 Cost Accounting

Evaluate costs and suggest improvements to increase profitability.

Perform ratio analysis and interpret variances such as surplus, claims, and expenses ratios.
📅 Budgeting & Costing

Track and manage budgets, providing detailed analysis of variances.

Assist senior managers with budget population and ensure business units have accurate allocations.
🔒 Operational Compliance

Adhere to mandatory procedures, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance are met.
📈 Insights & Reporting

Prepare and coordinate the completion of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (Required)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Management Accounting

Financial Services background (Advantageous)
Personal Attributes & Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial anomalies and propose solutions.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with senior colleagues and other stakeholders.

Ability to manage and interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
