What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly betting tax calculations.

• Ensure timely payment and submission of documentation to the Gambling Board.

• Collaborate closely with the Project Accountant, FM, and CFO on ongoing and ad hoc financial projects.

• Liaise with the Gambling Board to resolve tax-related queries.

• Review and test various financial and betting reports for regulatory compliance.

• Reconcile control accounts and report on BTC variances.

• Investigate discrepancies and source required supporting documentation.

• Test and validate new report structures and betting tax logic with software changes.

• Maintain detailed and accessible financial records related to betting taxes.

• Identify system weaknesses and errors, report them, and assist in resolutions.

• Provide support during external audits and assist with internal report sourcing.

• Support the finance team with budget preparation and company projects.

What You’ll Bring: Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)

• Currently studying towards a relevant Accounting Degree or Diploma
